Large law firms drop or decline cases because the lawyers don’t think the case will be profitable enough for them and they don’t want to designate a lot of time to the case.  This is often the case at some larger firms where attorneys are pressured to generate a large profit for the firm.  Smaller law firms may drop or refuse cases because of the firms lack of experience or they can’t afford to invest the money into the case.
